Terrible experience -- AVOID THIS LOCATION AT ALL COSTS !! -- Honestly, this was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. The staff here is incredibly rude and unprofessional. Every time I tried to explain why I was there, they interrupted me and flat-out refused to listen. Instead of trying to help, they were super accusatory and talked down to me the entire time. Because they would not just stop and listen to what was actually wrong, whatever they did ended up completely ruining my devices. I walked out of the store with two phones that do not function at all anymore. When I finally asked for the manager, hoping to get some actual help, it somehow got worse. The manager was completely unhelpful and actually enabled the terrible behavior of the employees instead of trying to fix the situation. Save yourself the headache and go to a completely different store.

This location on McHenry and Briggsmore is not corporate affiliated like the one on Pelendale is. Went here since it’s much closer, to talk about changing TV plan to a cheaper one (I have renegotiated at Pelendale before) the lady helping us kept telling me and my husband to cancel all our existing services: TV, internet and cell phone and then re-sign up solely under my husbands name. I knew something was off never in my 10 years with xfinity have they told me to do that. We left went to the original location at Pelendale and we were happily helped to lower our bill and even got a new phone plan that saved us money all without having to cancel services and re-sign up in a new name

I’m typically not one to leave reviews but I am beyond frustrated with the employee who helped me at this location. An associate ported my phone number over to Xfinity Mobile without fully explaining the process or the consequences. When I explicitly asked to opt out, I was lied to and told it was a "mandatory" part of my bundle. After spending multiple DAYS going back and forth with my original carrier to fix this mess, I contacted Xfinity Customer Service. They confirmed that associates are not supposed to force phone lines on customers and that opting out is always an option. Just a warning!

This was my first time getting help from a local store for Xfinity. I was hoping to receive a link for a survey but didn't get one. I had a great experience with Maya at the McHenry location. She was quick, knowledgeable and thorough. I was out of there in 10-15 minutes with all my questions answered and new equipment.

Shout out to Katelyn, who went above and beyond. Special thanks to Borey who in the store, Oscar and Jose who assisted via Xfinity phone support. Mine was a difficult problem and the staff took their time to resolve the concern. They were courteous and professional. Katelyn especially was very attentive and patient. She deserves a special recognition. Great team and team work. Thank you all and for what you do. Greatly appreciated.
